Originally from Cape Town, Clayton started his career as a dancer, achieving a Diploma in Dance from New Africa Theatre.

Clayton has also done voiceover work for a number of corporate clients including Lunch Bar, BP Express, Baileys and Parmalat.
He describes himself as a perfectionist who feels uncomfortable about watching himself on screen. His favourite movies are Training Day, Scarface, American Gangster, Miami Vice, and Goodfellas.
Clayton likes playing pool and radio DJing. If he could date anyone on this planet, it would be international actress and model Stacy Dash.
The wildest thing he's ever done is to get on a bus to Jozi, from Gugulethu, not knowing what to expect future-wise.
He is multilingual, speaking English, Xhosa, Afrikaans and Portuguese.
