Cheech Marin is an American comedian and actor best known for being one half of the duo Cheech and Chong, who made a number of comedy albums and feature film comedies together.
On television he is best known for his starring role as Joe Dominguez in the police procedural series Nash Bridges, from 1996-2001.
He also had a starring role in the short-lived sitcom Rob, in 2012.
In addition to eight feature films from the Cheech and Chong series, Marin appeared in Tin Cup, Spy Kids, Once Upon A Time in Mexico, The Perfect Game and the Robert Rodriguez film Machete. He lent his voice to the animated feature films Hoodwinked Too!, Cars 2 and The Lion King.
Marin's television credits include Judging Amy and co-starring with Don Johnson in Nash Bridges, Lost, Grey's Anatomy and Off the Map.
Marin is well-known for his noted Chicano art collection. He is the author of three children's books and a publication of comedic essays for adults. He resides in Los Angeles.
