Bio
Paul Guilfoyle is an American actor best known for his role as Captain Jim Brass on the police procedural television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, since 2000.
Guilfoyle has been featured in more than 70 feature films, including Air Force One, Primary Colors, The Negotiator, Amistad, In Dreams, Random Hearts, L.A. Confidential, Striptease, Extreme Measures, Ransom, Final Analysis, Cadillac Man, Quiz Show, Wall Street, Session 9 and American Violet.
He also appeared in the HBO film Live from Baghdad.
Among many theatre credits are Broadway productions of The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel, Search and Destroy, Richard III, Glengarry Glen Ross and Those the River Keeps.
A member of the Theater Company of Boston and The Actor's Studio, Guilfoyle was born in Boston and lives in New York City with his wife, choreographer Lisa Giobbi, and their daughter, Snowden.
