Bio
Miguel Ferrer is an American actor best known for his starring role as Dr. Garrett Macy on the television series Crossing Jordan, from 2001-2007.
He also starred as Lieutenant Felix Valdez in the police procedural television drama series The Protector, in 2011; and as Owen Granger in NCIS: Los Angeles, from 2012.
Ferrer was also a main credited cast member of the sitcom LateLine, playing the lead role of Victor 'Vic' Karp for 17 episodes from 1998-1999; and of the reimagined science fiction series Bionic Woman, in 2007.
From his role as a drug dealer-turned-informant in the Oscar-winning film Traffic to his six years as an actor and sometimes-director on the hit TV drama Crossing Jordan to his drumming on Keith Moon's solo album Two Sides of the Moon, Ferrer has consistently demonstrated his versatility.
Ferrer's much-lauded career has spanned the entertainment platforms since his breakout. His TV credits include numerous guest appearances on shows such as Magnum, P.I., CHiPs, Cagney & Lacey, Hill Street Blues, T.J. Hooker, Miami Vice, ER, Will & Grace, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Medium, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, CSI, Kings, Lie to Me and Psych, among many others.
He has also acted in numerous feature films including The Man Who Wasn't There, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, RoboCop, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, Hot Shots! Part Deux, Mr. Magoo, Mulan, Sunshine State, The Manchurian Candidate and Wrong Turn at Tahoe.
Ferrer resides in Los Angeles with his wife and their sons.
