Deidre Lovejoy is an American actress best known for playing Assistant State's Attorney Rhonda Pearlman in the police series The Wire, from 2002-2008.
She has made numerous guest appearances on television shows, including Law & Order, Third Watch, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Ed, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Without A Trace, Strong Medicine, Touched By An Angel, Judging Amy, NYPD Blue, The West Wing, Nip/Tuck, The Closer, NUMB3RS, Close To Home and Two And A Half Men.
She also appeared in three episodes of the sitcom Spin City, each time as a different reporter.
Lovejoy has also acted in the mini-series The Kennedys of Massachusetts (her screen acting debut in 1990) and Kingpin (2003), and in the made-for-TV movie Perfect Murder, Perfect Town: JonBenét and the City of Boulder (2000).

Born in Abilene, Texas, Lovejoy graduated from the prestigious theatre department at the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana.
