Robert F. Chew (28 December, 1960 - 17 January, 2013) was an American actor best known for his starring role as manipulative drug kingpin Proposition Joe in the HBO television drama series The Wire, from 2002-2008.Chew died on 17 January, 2013 at the age of 52. He suffered a heart attack and died at his Baltimore home.
