Mykelti Williamson is an American actor best known for his role as Private Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue in the Academy Award-winning 1994 film Forrest Gump.

Aside from numerous notable roles in film, Williamson has an extensive television resume as well. He has been a regular cast member on numerous shows including Cover Up (1984-1985), The Fugitive (2000), Boomtown (2002-2003), Kidnapped (2006) and 24 (2010).

He has also had recurring roles on The Righteous Apples, Bay City Blues, Streets Of Fire, Hill Street Blues, The Bronx Zoo, China Beach, Midnight Caller, The Hoop Life, Third Watch, CSI: NY and Justified.

He has had guest starring roles in the numerous series as well including Starsky And Hutch, The White Shadow, Father Murphy, Alice, Gimme A Break!, Miami Vice, J.J. Starbuck, The New WKRP in Cincinnati, Time Trax, The Outer Limits, Touched by an Angel, Monk, Justice, Raines, Psych, The Good Wife and Rizzoli & Isles.

(1987); Miracle Mile (1988); Free Willy (1993); Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home (1995); How to Make an American Quilt (1995); Heat (1995); Waiting to Exhale (1995); Truth or Consequences, N.M. (1997); Con Air (1997); Primary Colors (1998); Three Kings (1999); Ali (2001); The Assassination of Richard Nixon (2004); ATL (2006); and The Final Destination (2009).

Williamson was arrested for allegedly stalking his ex-wife and stabbing a friend in January 1998. He was acquitted of attempted manslaughter in September that year.
