Matli Mohapeloa is a South African actor best known for his role as DJ Ngwazi in the e.tv soapie Rhythm City, from 2007-2009.
He appeared in the 2005 television series Gothia Caper, and had a starring role in the 2006 mini-series When We Were Black, which aired on SABC1.
He had a guest appearance in the 2005 television series Mtunzini.com.
He joined the cast of the SABC1 sitcom Nomzamo for its third season, which premiered in October 2009, playing the role of Mdu - the troublesome brother of the title character, who moves in with her.
He also has a starring role as Moss Cele, a single, streetwise, greedy and self-centred businessman who runs a hair salon which his father bought for him, in the Mzansi Magic soap opera Zabalaza.
In 2017 he had a recurring role on the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy as Thabiso, a convicted rapist who served prison time and who returned with a score to settle against the lawyer who put him away - Fana, Jack Mabaso's son.
In 2021 he guest starred in an episode of the SABC2 sitcom Ak'siSpaza as K4, a celebrity endorsing the spaza shop's wors product. The episode aired on 29 April, 2021 (Season 1, Episode 4).
Matli's special talents include rugby and gumboot dancing and he speaks four languages: English, seSotho, Xhosa and Zulu.
