Rosemarie DeWitt is an American actress best known for her role as as Emily Lehman in the television drama series Standoff, from 2006-2007.
Born in New York, Rosemarie studied at the New College of Hofstra University and The Actors Centre and has a background in theatre. Most notably, she starred in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea at Second Stage, The Butter and Eggman at the Atlantic Theater and Craig Lucas' Small Tragedy, for which she, along with the cast, won an Obie Award.
In 2001 she made her TV debut as Gloria Palmera in an episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit entitled Victims and in 2004 she made her big screen playing an actor in the film Freshly Ground Grass.
In addition to playing Emily in Standoff, her other TV credits include guest roles on Love Monkey, Sex and the City, Queens Supreme, Wonderland and Rescue Me in which she played the recurring role of Heather.
Since 2007 she has played the role of lead character Don Draper's mistress, Midge, in the drama series Mad Men.
Her film credits include Cinderella Man (2005), The New Great Wonderful (2005), Shut Up And Sing (2006), Off The Black (2006) and Margaret (2006).
