Tyle Mane (also known as Big Sky and Nitron) is a Canadian professional wrestler and actor, best known for his role as Sabretooth in the X-Men movie trilogy.
Born and raised in Canada, Mane was actively involved and excelled in numerous physical sports. He was and continues to be an avid kickboxer, won several medals in speedskating, played semi-professional football, and spent 9 1/2 years training in the area of martial arts.
With his size, agility and intimidating presence he was quickly recruited into the wrestling arena.
Mane spent over 11 1/2 years wrestling professionally all over the world including the United States, Japan, Europe, Mexico, and South Africa. He was in the W.C.W. as Big Sky and Nitron, and was Kevin Nash's tag partner.
In 1994, he became Las Vegas' MGM Grand Champion for the U.W.F.
A natural progression to his life on the 'centre' stage was to move into acting and stunt work.
Mane, who has studied acting, has appeared in television commercials for companies such as Miller Lite, and an AT&T commercial with David Arquette.
In the television series Party of Five he had a guest starring role playing 'Mr. Mayhem' in the Wrestling Demons episode. He co-starred in Universal's television movie-of-the-week Bandit Goes Country where he played Jake 'Big Sky' Olson.
Mane has worked in some feature films in Mexico, and drew strong reviews as the lead role of Dean Rebel in the San Diego Repertory production of a wrestling musical entitled Turbo Tanzi.
Aside from his role in X-Men, Mane has also appeared in films such as Joe Dirt, The Scorpion King, Troy and Hercules.
Tyler has been living in the United States for 15 years. When he isn't on the road he can be found in Los Angeles or at his horse ranch in the Mid-West.
