Bio
Royston Stoffels is a South African actor best known for his starring television roles as Ahmad Abrahams in the e.tv soccer drama Shooting Stars (2007-2010) and as Pa September in the SABC2 drama series Erfsondes, from 2007-2012.
He also had a starring role as Goolam Padayachee, the oldest resident of the retirement home and a self-professed guru of everything and anything, in the SABC3 sitcom Let Heaven Wait, in 2013.
He has acted in numerous other television series and telefilms including Diamond Girl, Egoli, Backstage, Liriekeraai, Fishy Feshuns, Interrogation Room (two different roles), Going Up Again, Sokhulu & Partners, Stokvel and History of Mankind.
Royston has also acted in a number of feature films including Othello, Skilpoppe, Material, Chronicle, Black South Easter, Four Corners and Felix.
His theatre resume is extensive - some of the shows he has appeared in are Peter and the Wolf, Mixed Masala, Romeo and Juliet, Scribble, Hamlet, The Tempest, Silence of the Music and Kaapse Stories.
Royston has an illustrious career in theatre where he served in many positions including Artistic Director of the Cape Performing Arts Council.
