Jen Kersey was a contestant on the second season of the weight-loss reality competition television series The Biggest Loser, in 2005.
Kersey was 24 years old at the time of shooting the show, and was a medical student from Des Moines, Iowa.
As a med student, wife and mother of two, the term “all work and no play” describes her perfectly.
She has very little time for herself as she spends all day at med school and then when she comes home she has to cook dinner and tuck her two kids into bed before staying up all night to study.
She admits that her demise, when it comes to food, is the vending machine at work. With no time to prepare a meal for herself, she grabs whatever is convenient as opposed to what is healthy.
She describes herself as brutally honest and always gives 100 percent.
