Bio
Mark Yesitis was a contestant on the second season of the weight-loss reality competition television series The Biggest Loser, in 2005.
Yesitis was 36 years old at the time of shooting the show, and is a San Francisco police officer. He has a wife and two children and lives in Campbell, California.
As a field training officer, Mark says he hears ‘fat jokes’ all the time and he’s tired of the stereotype that all cops hang out at doughnut shops.
In 2003 he had a gruelling battle with testicular cancer, which he won. He wants to inspire people with his story and is out to prove to the world that anything, including weight loss, is possible.
