Bio
Colé is a South African singer and television presenter who has entertained crowds around South Africa and Namibia for many years.
She has also performed in England, Scotland, Cyprus, Paris and the Scottish Isles at many types of events from music festivals to Casinos and holiday resorts, to West End theatre productions.
Colé was born in the resort town of Scottburgh, 58 kilometres south of Durban on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast of South Africa, and raised in the nearby town of Amanzimtoti.
Born the third of three girls (with one younger brother) on 24 July, Colé's father is a scientist and training provider, while her mother is a counselor and hypnotherapist.
She graduated from Ladysmith High School and trained as an alternative therapist and social worker.
She completed her training in rock, pop and soul singing with Carol Grimes at London's City Lit College in 2004.
Colé has shared the stage with artists such as Bonnie Tyler, Village People, Julian Marley, Lemar, Watershed, Claire Johnston (Mango Groove), Steve Hofmeyr, Just Jinger, Boo, Dozi and Patricia Lewis, to name a few.
She has performed at numerous events including festivals like The Rand Easter Show, Dias Festival, and Bloemfontein Rainbow Show (South Africa); Ukkasie Fees, Earlscourt Festival and Nottinghill Carnival (England); Agia Napa stadium (Cyprus) and on the Isle of Skye.
In the UK she has done regular performances at Hyde Park's Pizza on the Park, The Hilton Hotel, Madam Tausauds Wax Museum, and touring Park and Haven holiday resorts.
She has performed at Sun City (since 1994), Graceland Casino, Montecasino, Aventura holiday resorts and many other venues.
Colé has recorded in South Africa (Universal Studios), contributing to the compilation album "SA se Grootste Treffers" and has received airtime on South African radio.
Colé participated in the World Song Contest SA 2006 at Montecasino and sang "Tears with Champagne", which was awarded a place on a compilation CD and DVD to be released internationally.
She played the role of Prince Harry's girlfriend in his ITV documentary, toured the UK in musical theatre productions Grease and Flopstar and hosted her own alternative health talk show on SKY TV in 2005.
She has appeared in many TV shows and films, including UK Pop Idol presenter's Ant and Dec's movie Alien Autopsy, Boys & Girls, Trevor's World of Sports, ITV comedy sketch shows, The Rotters Club, Family Affairs, Colour Me Kubrick, Basic Instinct 2, Midsomer Murders, KTV, Jam Alley, Let's Chat, The Toasty Show and Teleschool amongst others.
Colé performs originals and chart covers (Christina Aguilera, Shania Twain, Shakira, etc.) in a variety of genres/styles including rock, pop, jazz and ballads.
She describes her career highlights as meeting George Harrison and Nelson Mandela and performing for them.
