Bio
Saverio Guerra is an American actor best known for his starring role as Bob Benito in the television sitcom Becker, from 1998-2003.
Born and raised in New York, Guerra started his career in the theatre. He has appeared in playwright Frank Pugliese's The Talk as well as Mr Pugliese's Summer Winds, both at Naked Angels Theatre Company.
He appeared in Patrick Breen's Midnight Morning Rain at Manhattan Class Company, as well as Kenneth Lonergan's The Suffering Colonel directed by Mathew Broderick.
He is best known to television audiences as Bob on Becker with Ted Danson, a role he played for five years. Other television appearances include Monk, My Name is Earl, Las Vegas and NYPD Blue, to name a few.
In films he has worked with many of Hollywood's top directors. He has appeared in the films Summer of Sam directed by Spike Lee, Lucky You directed by Curtis Hanson, Sleepers directed by Barry Levinson, Bad Boys directed By Michael Bay and many more.
He was also seen as Mocha Joe in the critically-acclaimed seventh season finale of the hit HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm, opposite Larry David.
As a writer, Saverio has written a play entitled Adoptation, an autobiographical solo show about one man's journey towards family.
