Bio
Margo Martindale is an American actress best known for her film role as Susan Sarandon's fellow nun in Dead Man Walking (1995), and for her television roles as Nina Burns in The Riches (2007-2008), as Camilla in Dexter (2006-2008) and as Mags Bennett in Justified, in 2011.
In 2011, she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as Mags Bennett on Justified.
She is also known for her starring role as Rita Perkins-Hall in the short-lived supernatural medical drama television series A Gifted Man, from 2011-2012.
Her additional television credits include Person of Interest, Suits, Smash, Hung, Medium, The Americans, The Millers and Masters of Sex.
Martindale appeared in the films Secretariat, Orphan, Stop-Loss, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, The Savages, Paris je t'aime, Million Dollar Baby, The Human Stain, The Hours, Marvin's Room and Dead Man Walking.
Martindale started her career in theater in the original production of Steel Magnolias. Later, she was Tony-nominated for her role in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
A native of Texas, Martindale splits her time between New York and Los Angeles.
