Bio
Lenny Clarke is an American actor and comedian best known for his television roles as Officer Adam Hampton in The John Larroquette Show (1993-1996) and as Uncle Teddy in Rescue Me, from 2004-2011.
He also starred as Chelsea's dad, Melvin, a penny-pinching salesman with a big heart and all too often a big mouth, in the short-lived television sitcom Are You There, Chelsea?, in 2012.
A veteran actor and stand-up comic, Clarke launched his career in film and television with many appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Comedy Central Presents.
He starred in a recurring regular role on Rescue Me and also a series lead on It's All Relative and a series regular on The Job and The John Larroquette Show.
In his first television series Lenny, from executive producer Don Reo, Clarke portrayed Lenny Callahan, a frustrated blue-collar worker.
Clarke's film credits include Me, Myself & Irene, The Game Plan, Fever Pitch, Stuck on You, There's Something About Mary, Getting Personal, Monument Ave., Southie, Meet Wally Sparks and Two If by Sea.
Having lost 200 pounds on their plan, Clarke is now a spokesperson for Weight Watchers.
Clarke, a Boston native, is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and currently lives in Martha's Vineyard.
