Lyndsy Fonseca is an American actress best known for her recurring role as Daughter in the television sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
She also played the recurring role of Dylan Mayfair - the daughter of Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany) - in the dramedy Desperate Housewives, from 2007-2009.
She also starres as Alex, Nikita's (Maggie Q) former partner who plans to take down her old ally while also seeking revenge on the man who killed her family, in the action thriller television series Nikita, from 2010-2013.
Lyndsy appeared in the two-hour Lifetime movie Project Five, which consists of five short films directed by Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Penelope Spheeris, in 2011.
Fonseca's other film credits include The Ward, Hot Tub Time Machine, and the smash hit Kick-Ass, in which she starred opposite Aaron Johnson.
Fonseca starred on the hit series Desperate Housewives, opposite Dana Delaney and Nathan Fillion. She has also had recurring arcs on the critically acclaimed series Big Love and the hit comedy How I Met Your Mother.
Other television credits include Boston Public, CSI, House and Heroes. She got her start on the daytime drama The Young and the Restless, in which she starred for three years.
Fonseca currently lives in Los Angeles.
