In 2004 he returned to South Africa and accepted a position as a cabin attendant for British Airways, and early in 2005 returned to his studies on a part time basis to do brand communication at VEGA.
"When The Apprentice came up I thought I couldn't let this go by without giving it a shot and that's what I did. I had a great time in the house and got to meet a group of people that are dynamic and headstrong in their approach to business. It was a fun learning curve for me.
"I'm also currently in the process of putting together a theatre introduction programme for underprivileged children in townships.
"It's a non-profit thing to introduce children in the townships to theatre, because as an avid theatre-goer I'm actually quite disappointed every time I walk into a theatre and I see that I'm usually one of six black people in a theatre that can accommodate 800 people.
"It all starts from when you're a child and I want to take children from underprivileged communities and introduce them to theatre.
"Let them see a pantomine, let them see a ballet, introduce them to the dancers and hopefully our theatres will start to thrive and it will be far more of a display of what South Africa's really like when you look out at the crowd in the audience and see more black faces."
