Lauren Cohan is an American actress best known for her starring role as Maggie Greene in the television horror series The Walking Dead.
She is also known for her recurring television roles as Bela Talbot, a thief who sometimes helps out the Winchester Boys, in Supernatural (2007-2008) and as Rose, a 500-year-old vampire, in The Vampire Diaries, from 2010-2011.
Her television credits include a pivotal guest arc on Chuck and guest appearances on Modern Family, CSI: NY and Cold Case.
On the big screen, Cohan has appeared opposite Heath Ledger in Casanova, starred in Van Wilder 2: The Rise Of Taj and starred in the Death Race prequel Death Race 2.
Born in Philadelphia, Cohan spent her childhood in New Jersey before moving to the United Kingdom at the age of 13. There, she graduated from the University of Winchester/King Alfred's College where she studied Drama and English Literature. While at the university, she co-founded and toured with a theatre company called No Man's Land.
Cohan currently divides her time between London and Los Angeles.
