Bio
Chris Jacobs is an American actor best known as the co-host of the reality television show Overhaulin', from 2004-2008.
He is currently a correspondent for the entertainment news show Entertainment Tonight, since 2011, after previously serving as correspondent with companion show The Insider for two seasons.
In 2010, Jacobs served as correspondent and interviewed many of Hollywood's top stars and newsmakers, including Angelina Jolie, Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Leonardo DiCaprio, Drew Barrymore, Katherine Heigl, Charlie Sheen, Bobby Brown and Roger Ebert.
Jacobs covered some the entertainment industry's biggest news events, including the Mel Gibson extortion scandal, Lindsay Lohan's probation violation trial and subsequent jail sentence, the Tiger Woods affair, as well as the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, the Emmys, and the ESPY awards, to name a few.
In addition, Jacobs traveled the country reporting on various adventure and personal-interest stories, including swimming with sharks in the Bahamas, storm chasing in Memphis and visiting an elephant sanctuary in Florida.
Jacobs has appeared as an entertainment expert on such prestigious news programs as Larry King Live, The Joy Behar Show and Nancy Grace.
