Bio
Tom Fisher (sometimes credited as Thomas Fisher) is an English actor best known for his role as Ted on the television drama series Kingdom, from 2007-2009.
Thomas started acting at the age five when he performed in his first school play. He quickly got recognised due to hair colour - as the only redhead, Thomas stood out.
By the age of 10 he had been performing school plays for five years and was offered his first big role by director Ken Roberts to play the background fish in his new theatre production of The Little Fish In The Deep Blue Sea. It was hiss first performance on a big stage performing in front of hundreds of people every night.
Thomas carried on performing in a number of stage performances, and at the age of 15 he decided that it was time to try film and television.
Like most actors he found it hard trying to get the right representation to help him get the right parts. With over 60 rejection letters and over 100 letters sent out, he found his drive to be successful.
In the summer of August 2005, Thomas went down to London to meet director James Kent and auditioned for his new film HG Wells: War With The Worlds and auditioned for the role of Jip Wells. He landed the role.
In early 2006 he got a part in Season 1 of the BBC television drama series Waterloo Road, where he played the part of Mike. Following this he played the part of Wes Smith on the television series Northern Lights starring Robson Green, but his scene was cut.
Shortly after this Thomas signed up with the acting agency Mclean Williams Management.
In summer of 2006, Thomas signed a one album deal with Glitterjam Records and released his first album Valentine over the internet. The dance album featured duets with Dee Cash aka Suicidal Rollmodel who helped produce and remix the album.
Three singles were released - Inhibitor, Valentine and the most popular Stupid Love Song. A second album with Glitterjam was planned but Thomas decided not to go along with it, due to the fact he wanted to work on more rock/pop style music.
Thomas signed up with MJ War Films for three short films where he played the part of John Matthews, a young boy who has just celebrated his 18th birthday and is being sent off to war. The first in the series Dead Rain was released in summer 2007, followed shortly after by Deadly Alliances.
Thomas took part in the 2007 Talk To Frank campaign directed by Ronnie West, which appeared on television and Myspace which was seen by millions of people worldwide, and also starred in the television show Brain Warehouse, about teenagers coping with different drugs.
In summer 2006 the feature film Summer Sunshine, which Thomas started filming at the age of 15, was finally realised worldwide and became a hit over the internet.
In early 2007 Thomas was cast as Scally in new British murder-mystery feature film Fragments by Ross Nickson, starring Nathan Head and Kieron Richardson.
Thomas also went on to appear in the pilot and title sequence for a new television show Charges the community channel, which aims to help new film directors and animators.
In May 2007, Thomas completed filming the role as William Sawyer in the horror feature film Hellbilly58 directed by Russ Diaper, which is set in 1958.
In the same year he began starring in Kingdom and since then has guest starred on Midsomer Murders, Treasure Island and Whitechapel, among others.
