Bio
Alex Bell was a contestant on the sixth season of the Survivor reality TV series, entitled Survivor: The Amazon.
Originally a member of the Tambaqui tribe, Bell was moved to the Jaburu tribe in episode five, when the tribes were switched. He also made it to the merged Jacaré tribe.
In a final four alliance with Rob Cesternino, Jenna Morasca, and Heidi Strobel, Alex told Rob that when it got down to four he would join the women and vote off Rob.
In response, Rob got together with Matt von Ertfelda, Christy Smith and Butch Lockley to take out his former alliance. He was seen as a threat, and thus he was voted off (4-3) and became the 3rd member of the jury.
Bell grew up in San Francisco and spent two years in the Sierra Nevada Mountains attending boarding school. He also studied communications at Laney College in Oakland, Calif.
He previously worked as a projects manager for Team In Training, a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphomia Society. Prior to that, he was employed by DreamWorks in the creative services and communications departments.
Bell enjoys competing in triathlons, snowboarding and writing. He describes himself as funny, determined and intelligent.
After a serious struggle with drugs and alcohol during his teens and early twenties, Bell is most proud of turning his life around and maintaining his sobriety for 11 years and credits the unconditional love of his mother and family for helping him through the rough times.
If he could be any superhero, he'd want to be Aquaman so he could breathe under water. His favourite movie is Braveheart.
