Kagiso Kuypers is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Chungwa in the 2005 student short film Elalini, which won a student film Oscar. He is also known for his starring role as Dia Vandy, a child soldier abducted and brainwashed by rebel forces, in the 2006 feature film Blood Diamond. Kagiso also had a guest starring role in an episode of the South African/Canadian co-production of Jozi-H, a medical drama television series that originally aired on SABC3 in 2007. Kagiso matriculated from the National School of the Arts in 2009 and later attende AFDA. He graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2013 with a BCom in Economics and Accounting. In 2023 he had a guest starring role in an episode of the Mzansi Magic telenovela Champions.
