Bio
Robert Buckley is an American actor best known for his television drama roles as photographer Michael Bauer on Fashion House (2006) and as Matthew Wakefield on American Heiress, in 2007.
He also played the role of Kirby Atwood, a younger man who has a torrid love affair with Nico Reilly (Kim Raver), in the drama series Lipstick Jungle, from 2008-2009.
He also starred on the CW hit series One Tree Hill as Clayton, a brash young sports agent who represented Nathan Scott, played by James Lafferty.
A native southern-Californian, Buckley grew up in Claremont, California, before moving to San Diego to attend the University of California at San Diego (UCSD).
After earning a degree in economics, he spent a year-and-a-half working as an economic consultant before throwing in the towel to head off to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment.
Buckley has worked steadily as a model in both the print and fashion worlds for such clients as Adidas, AG Jeans, Redken, Women's Health, Runner's World (cover) and Exercise for Men.
He has also worked as a writer and free-lance producer for E! News, was a series regular on My Network's Fashion House and American Heiress, and has completed several independent movies and the feature film Dead of Winter.
Buckley starred alongside Heather Locklear in the Lifetime Movie Flirting with 40 and also had a recurring role on the CW comedy Privileged as magazine editor-in-chief David Besser. In addition he appeared in the independent Western film, The Legend of Hells Gate.
He also starred as Brian Leonard, a young playwright married to Louise Leonard (Mercedes Masöhn), who pines for his early success and promise, on the supernatural drama series 666 Park Avenue, from 2012-2013.
