Bio
Scott Cohen is an American actor best known for his television roles as Wolf in the mini-series The 10th Kingdom (2000) and as Max Medina, the love interest of Lorelai, in the drama series Gilmore Girls, from 2000-2003.
He also starred as professional problem-solver Nico Careles in the television drama series Necessary Roughness, from 2011-2013.
He also starred in Showtime's hit series Street Time and has appeared on NYPD Blue, Law & Order: Trial By Jury, The Practice, Without a Trace, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Castle and Blue Bloods, among other series.
Cohen starred opposite Natalie Portman in Don Roos' feature film The Other Woman. He has appeared in Everybody's Fine, alongside Robert DeNiro, in Nicole Holofcener's Please Give, and in Ed Zwick's Love and Other Drugs, and has starred in numerous independent films, including Iron Cross, Winter of Frozen Dreams, and indie darling Kissing Jessica Stein.
He also appeared alongside Mel Gibson in How I Spent My Summer Vacation.
Cohen's prolific theatre resume includes roles in the Broadway comedy Losing Louie for the Manhattan Theater Club, in David Ives' The Other Woman and in A Nervous Smile opposite Amy Brenneman, among many others.
Along with his acting projects, Scott also serves on the Columbia County Film Festival Advisory Board. He lives in New York City with his wife and son.
