Aaron Jeffery (born 1970) is a New Zealand actor best known for his role as Alex Ryan in the Australian television drama series McLeod's Daughters, from 2001-2009.
He also has a starring role as Matthew "Fletch" Fletcher, a corrections officer who has trouble with women in authority and has a "damaged goods" feel about him that is both unsettling and attractive, in the television drama series Wentworth.
Since graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1993, Jeffery has established himself as one of Australia's most accomplished actors, winning two TV Week Silver Logies and a nomination for his eight-year role in the internationally successful series McLeod's Daughters.
Born in New Zealand, Aaron's impressive list of TV credits include his AFI nominated role in Underbelly: Badness, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Neighbours, Wild Boys, East West 101, The Strip, Water Rats, Blue Murder and The Damnation of Harvey.
He has featured in a number of films including Wolverine, Beautiful, Strange Planet and The Interview, as well as theatre roles such as Shadow Boxing, Love Letters, A Clockwork Orange and the Sydney Theatre Company's production of The Crucible. He has taught drama at NIDA and other organisations.
Aaron resides in Sydney.
