Bio
Benjamin Fry is an English psychotherapist, author, television presenter and etrepreneur best known as a psychological expert on the reality makeover television series Spendaholics, since 2005.
He began his professional life as a male model after leaving school and set up a nightclub business at the age of 20.
He spent two years at film school in Los Angeles and encountered many of the ideas associated with modern psychology and therapy. He has directed one film and written film scripts professionally.
Benjamin developed an interest in psychotherapy and other areas of personal growth during extensive and varied personal treatment. He completed a foundation course in psychotherapy from Regent’s College, London in 1998 and studied for one year of a subsequent MA.
He has written the book What's Wrong With You and is a columnist in the Times’ Saturday Body and Soul supplement.
Benjamin read physics and philosophy at Oxford University, is married with three children and lives in London.
