Lives in: Johanessburg
Age: 30

Nthabeleng, nickname Pana, is from Northwold in Johannesburg and is a project co-ordinator. She is studying part-time towards a diploma in marketing.

Pana enjoys going to the gym but says she is not sports mad. She enjoys music, good company, and interacting with different kinds of people. She’s addicted to the Oreo McFlurry from McDonalds, listening to house music and chocolate. “I’m a rainbow nation child, spontaneous, outgoing and passionate. My greatest achievement has been to buy a townhouse, a great investment and a personal achievement.

“My most prized possession is my extensive CD collection. For the future I want to start my own company that helps to enrich our country by empowering fellow South Africans with the right practical skills to make their mark.” Nthabeleng dislikes pretentious people, hot weather and Parktown prawns.

In her recreational time she volunteers at Acres of Love – an orphanage, and spends as much time as possible with her family. “My philosophy is: ‘Life is like drawing without an eraser’. I entered Fear Factor because it’s an amazing opportunity and I’ve always wanted to be part of something adventurous.

“I’m not aware of my fears because I’m generally in a comfort zone so it will be interesting to find out what they are. My worst fear is being voted off first and having to eat a Parktown prawn. I haven’t brought a lucky charm but I believe my grandmother is my guardian angel. If I win I’ll travel the world. I’ve always wanted to and this will be my opportunity.”
