I live in Allen's Nek JHB Westrand area. 3 weeks back my VW polo was stolen at 3:17am from our 24/7 guarded complex in Kudu street. These criminals used the gate remote to exit the gate and I have no idea how they got hold of the remote.
This morning four man stole another vehicle in the same complex. They held the guard at gun point. Apparently they (criminals) were also in our complex 3 days back.
The scary part is that the police have all the CCTV video footage but they are doing nothing in terms of trying to use that footage to make arrests.
The Gaurd pressed the panic button, the armed response (BestSure Security company) came and they found the gate closed then they left. They did not even bother to look for the gaurd who had pressed the panic button.
Another complex down the road from ours experienced the very same thing last week.
Now we live in fear and not knowing what's next. Can you perhaps help in exposing this criminals by putting their faces on TV as well as the police that are supposed to be doing something about it maybe they will act. Please help in any way you can.
