Political Animals is an American political drama television mini-series created by Greg Berlanti that pulls back the curtain on the polished facade of a former first-family as they navigate the complex world of political and personal ambition.
The series aired in the USA on USA Network from 15 July to 19 August, 2012. There are six hour-long episodes in one season.
The series was supposed to premiere in South Africa on M-Net and M-Net HD on Thursday 10 January 2013, at 19h30, but due to its high age restriction (16VSNL) the series could not be aired before 8pm and was replaced by Revenge 2.
