Blossom is a half-hour comedy television series created by Don Reo about Blossom Russo, a teenage girl living with her father and two brothers.
The series aired on NBC from 3 January 1991 to 22 May 1995. There are 114 episodes in five seasons.
Blossom aired in South Africa on the SABC.
Synopsis
Blossom Russo is a thirteen-year old girl struggling to stay afloat in a house dominated by men.
With her mother having left, Blossom lives with her father and two brothers. Her eldest brother Anthony is a recovering drug addict while her younger brother Joey is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Blossom is often the voice of reason and maturity in her crazy home.
Along with her family, Blossom also has her best friend, Six, a much more extroverted girl.
The show focuses on Blossom facing all the challenges of a normal teenager but in her own peculiar way, including receiving advice from celebrities in her dreams.
