Studio 53 is a weekly half-hour lifestyle show that showcases cultural events, historical places, music, art, design, fashion and celebrity personalities from across the African continent.
It originally aired in South Africa on M-Net. It currently airs in South Africa on M-Net Series, and in the rest of Africa on DStv's M-Net Africa.
Synopsis
Gaetano Kagwa from Uganda and Rosie Motene from South Africa host the show from a studio located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Together they bring the diversity of the magazine together as the shows team of field presenters present the stories they discover in different African countries as they travel the continent.
Countries the show has featured include Senegal, Botswana, Zimbabwe, St. Helena, the Seychelles, Morocco, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Angola amongst others.
