About the Show

Sarah Graham's Food Safari is a South African food and travel lifestyle series in which food blogger Sarah Graham takes her kitchen on the road, proving that anything is possible with the right ingredients.

Sarah takes viewers on a food safari across Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa, continuing the delectable journey that started with her first television venture, Bitten – Sarah Graham Cooks Cape Town.

This series represents an intimate gourmet adventure that's designed to fulfill the armchair foodie's sense of curiosity about off-the-beaten-track spaces and delightful new flavours. It also showcases some unforgettable wildlife and in-the-bush dining experiences with Sarah's friends and family.

Sarah grew up on a small game reserve in Zimbabwe, lion cubs and elephants included, and this season takes us deeper into her food story, set against an epic African backdrop of the people and places she loves.

From the open savannah of Zimbabwe and the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls; on to the bustle of South Africa's capital Johannesburg. Moving south through the dramatic terrain of the Karoo towards the verdant Garden Route and on to the beautiful cityscapes of Cape Town. It's all about experiencing some of Sarah's favourite corners of Southern Africa, feasting and exploring as we go.

Directed by SAFTA award winner Chris Lotz and with Louise McClelland at the helm as Executive Producer, Sarah Graham's Food Safari filmed across 31 locations, starting in her home country of Zimbabwe.

From there the crew captured Sarah's adventures into Zambia before their road-trip took them to the culinary treats of Johannesburg and then to Prince Albert in the Karoo.

Other destinations include picturesque spots on the Garden Route, before finally reaching Cape Town.

Sarah Graham's Food Safari is an M-Net Original Production produced by Okuhle Media. The executive producer was Louise McClelland and the script was written by Alison Evans. Music composition was by Josh Wynter of Mother City Records.
