SLOT is a South African, Afrikaans-language mystery thriller television series which revolves around a psychiatrist who develops a drug that penetrates the subconscious, which turns out to have consequences for her test patients.

This is the underlying question of Leon Kruger's thriller about a brilliant psychiatrist who believes she has developed a therapeutic agent that reaches into deep traumas of the subconscious.
The holistic therapy is intended to give access to underlying traumas.
Due to the illegal nature of the drug she offers therapy sessions in secret and four strangers end up on a farm for treatment.
What she doesn't know is that this session will irrevocably change all their lives, after extraordinary things start to happen.
Then the puzzle starts to find out who these people are and what is happening to them.
