The Company is an American action/thriller television mini-series written by Ken Nolan, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Robert Littell, that follows the Cold War intelligence battle between the CIA and the KGB from the end of World War II to the fall of the Soviet Union.
The series aired in the USA on TNT from 5-19 August, 2007. It is 286 minutes long.
The Company premiered in South Africa on SABC3 on Sunday 28 March 2010, at 17h00. New episodes air weekly. There are six hour-long episodes in the mini-series.
Synopsis
Three friends are recruited out of Yale in the early days of the Cold War, becoming agents of the CIA and KGB.
Played out against historical events that span four decades, this is a look inside both agencies and at the men who ran them – all believing they represented the true and enlightened way.
