Synopsis
Presented by Colin Murray and Abi Griffiths, Driving Wars is the show where state-of-the-art robotics, radio control technology and high speed video links combine to create the ultimate driving competition.
Two teams of cocky drivers get the unique opportunity to operate full-size, real cars via remote control from the comfort of an arcade style simulator.
With no one actually in the car, the teams are free to take on a series of previously unthinkable motoring challenges such as a 100 ft jump, a game of cat and mouse with a 12 tonne oil tanker intent on total annihilation, a high speed police chase, parking on a fast-moving flat bed truck and escaping the clutches of a mad gunman with a petrol bomb in the boot.
Teams guide their remote cars to victory... or flaming destruction.
