Real Husbands of Hollywood is an American comedy-improv reality television parody series created by Kevin Hart, which follows him along with other married celebrities (each playing a comical fictionalised version of themselves) within the series, which is intentionally filmed in a style similar to Bravo's The Real Housewives of... franchise.
Episodes often hinge on the "real" Kevin Hart's desperately unsuccessful attempts to climb Hollywood's celebrity social ladder (which always backfire in humiliating ways), and the character's barely-hidden jealousy of his more successful celebrity friends.
Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove and Robin Thicke star in Real Husbands of Hollywood, billed as "the fakest reality show ever."
Enjoy the ride as these guys take on all things, from the husband's point of view. You may recognize some situations or characters from those other reality shows. That is completely on purpose.
Kevin Hart recently divorced; Nick Cannon, husband of superstar Mariah Carey; Boris Kodjoe, husband of actress Nicole Ari Parker; Duane Martin, husband of actress Tisha Campbell-Martin; J.B. Smoove, husband of the songstress Shahidah Omar; and Robin Thicke, husband of actress Paula Patton, round off the main cast of characters.
There are a number of special guest appearances by television, film, music and sport's top stars including Jay Leno, Ed O'Neill, Shaquille O'Neal, Nelly, Faizon Love, Common, Trey Songz, Cedric the Entertainer and several other A-list surprises.
Real Husbands of Hollywood is executive produced by Kevin Hart; Stan Lathan; Ralph Farquhar; Jesse Collins; Tim Gibbons; Chris Spencer; Dave Becky; along with BET Networks' President of Music Programming and Specials, Stephen Hill are the executive producers behind this series.
