Abangani is a South African television drama miniseries created by Kalumbu Kapisa and produced by Kwacha Media about a woman's relationship with a married man that takes a turn for the worse when his wife hires a hitman to eliminate her - only for her to discover that the hitman is in fact her long-lost younger brother.
The series, comprising three short films, originally aired on Mzansi Magic from 22 May to 5 June, 2013, on Mondays at 19h00. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are three hour-long episodes in the series, which later aired on Mzansi Wethu. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Synopsis
Bongi is in a relationship with a married man. The wife of the married man puts out a hit on her, but Bongi discovers that the hitman is her long-lost younger brother who had been doing time in prison.
Together they decide to defraud the married woman by faking Bongi's death.
Linda has moved on with her life after the death of her husband by meeting a new partner. The deceased husband's shady dealings are beginning to surface, however, and are haunting Linda.
In the final episode of the series, Phumzile's world is turned upside down after she reunites with her long-lost mother, who abandoned her at a young age.
