Bobby Jones: A Stroke Of Genius is a motion picture based on the life, specifically the golfing career, of Bobby Jones, the first player in the sport to ever consecutively win all four of the men's major golf championships.
In one year Bobby became the only player to win the US Open, the British Open, the US Amateur and the British Amateur - and he did so as an amateur.
The only thing more remarkable about his story and his success is that at the age of 28, with the world literally at his feet, Bobby Jones gave it all up to save the ones he loved.
Jim Caviezel plays Bobby, a man who came from nowhere to become golf's most celebrated hero.
Jones was a rank amateur who worked his way up in the sport, while trying to keep his day job. The film pits him against the top professional of the time, Walter Hagen, who enjoys his success a lot more than Bobby ever did.
The exciting life golf offers also clashes with the wishes of his wife Mary, who just wants him to spend more time at home.
But there's a lot more at play than that, which will lead him to make a decision that will shake the golfing world to its foundation.
Tagline: His passion made him a legend.
