Synopsis
A remake of the 1973 classic series of the same name, starring Telly Savalas in the title role, Kojak (2005) stars Ving Rhames as the reinvented bald cop with a bite.
Using tough street tactics and bending the law to suit his style, Lieutenant Theo Kojak works the hard streets of New York City's 13th Precinct, solving the worst of the worst crimes.
Two relics of the original series have remained intact in the 2005 remake: Kojak's penchant for red lollipops and his catchphrase: "Who loves ya, baby?"
Written by Abby Mann and Tony Piccirillo and directed by Michael W. Watkins, Kojak (2005) only lasted one season.
It was released on DVD by Universal Home Video on 22 March, 2005.
