Mfolozi Street is a South African television drama series created by Khetiwe Ngcobo which tells the story of Lindani Yengwa who - when his parents are killed by a drunk driver - returns to his hometown to raise his sister and seek justice, only to find himself driven a stronger motivation: to encourage his old community to embrace the freedom they won 20 years ago.

Along the way he rediscovers the community that raised him and forces them to confront their own failure to embrace their freedom, on the twentieth anniversary of the first democratic elections in South Africa.
