Season 1
Henry Cole sets off to find the greatest place on earth to be on two wheels. In two one-hour episodes, Henry sees what the West Coast of America has to offer.
First up is the world famous US Highway One running from San Francisco down to Los Angeles. Always one to wear his heart on his sleeve, it’s not long before Henry is both in raptures at the scenery and in despair at the traffic.
In the second programme, Henry toughs it out Riding the American Deserts. Death Valley, Mojave and Joshua Tree, just the names evoke classic Americana. But far from cruising along soaking up the heat, it turns out to be one of the most challenging rides Henry has ever undertaken.
So get your motor runnin’, head out on the highway and join Henry lookin’ for adventure.
Season 2
Henry and his hog roar back for a second season of biking. Having covered the West Coast of America in his last outing, Henry now tackles the East Coast; attempting the epic journey along US Highway 1 from Portland Maine, on the Canadian border, all the way to Key West in Florida.
Along the way, he stops off in New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania to meet the locals and get their views on life. Never one to hide his own true feelings at the best of times, Henry will still be shooting from the lip this time out.
Over these two one-hour films Henry sets off on another of America's greatest motorcycle rides, cruising some 3,000 miles of the best of America's east coast from Portland, Maine near the Canadian border to Key West in the South aboard his outrageous American custom chop - a Saxon Crown designed by the legendary chop house LA County Choppers.
It’s been specially converted and adapted for the arduous ride.
The route takes in the frenetic north east coast through the heart of America's commercial and political cities - Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington - on down through the stunning laid back beauty of North and South Carolina, Georgia and eventually the east coast’s favourite tourist destination - Florida.
The ride takes in the eclectic and vibrant city of Miami on through countless seaside holiday destinations to journey's end in Key West.
En route Henry soaks up the diversity of local culture and communities and indulges in riding some of America's most magical roads.
