Synopsis
Not everyone can get into the Salinger, but those who do have the chance of a lifetime. Failure is not an option at this top London school for performing arts.
The driven, talented students have a taste for tequila and a whole load of angst going on, making the average teenager's life look like a walk in the park.
The six-part series follows Lila (Talulah Riley), an awkward 19-year-old with a mentally ill mother, but with an exceptional talent for writing; Owen (Aaron Johnson), who cannot read music any more than he can re-write his wayward past; Joe, (Tunji Kasim) who looks and acts like a geek; and Kate (Anna Brewster) a beautiful, ambitious actress, who is sick of living in the shadow of her successful film director Dad.
Over the series, the world of this unlikely group of friends is explored.
