I really enjoyed watching both Amalia and Amalia Season 2! I must say the storyline of mystery and suspense are superb starring Illse Roos as Amalia! Another great collaboration produced by Sonneblom Films, directed by Katinka Heyns and wrtten by Chris Barnard with some of the best acting talent in South Africa! The performances by Marius Weyers as Captain Wollie de Wet and Robbie Klay as Buks van Wyk (son of Amalia) are outstanding. What a heartfelt scene with Robbie Klay and Dawid Minnaar (Piet Vos) who had just found out that his mother had committed suicide by overdosing on pain medication. Bravo to everyone for delivering in this true gem of Afrikaans storytelling!
