Andy Barker, P.I. is an American television sitcom created by Conan O'Brien and Jonathan Groff and starring Andy Richter as Andy Barker, a certified public accountant who reluctantly becomes a private investigator after he is mistaken for the former office tenant, a private eye, now retired.
Andy develops a taste for solving cases, assisted by the former P.I., a film buff owner of the downstairs video store, a surveillance-expert restaurateur and, as time goes on, his wife.
The series originally aired in the USA on NBC from 15 March to 14 April, 2007. There are six half-hour episodes in the series.

Synopsis
Andy Barker (Andy Richter), an earnest, hard-working CPA who has succeeded at everything - until his new accounting business fails to take off.
But when he's mistaken for Lew Staziak (Harve Presnell), the retired private detective who used to occupy his storefront office, Andy embraces the twist of fate and dives into his double life.
His number-crunching skills help him to become a great P.I., but his two careers continue to intersect in hilarious and unnerving ways. Andy will try to solve cases using his accounting knowledge.
Andy's relentlessly supportive wife Jen (Clea Lewis) isn't sold on this risky new venture, that is, until she notices a sudden boost in Andy's self-confidence.
Andy's fellow strip mall neighbours - Simon (Tony Hale) and Wally (Marshall Manesh) - join him in the dicey investigations.
