Synopsis
Stephen K. Amos is one of the best comedians on the UK comedy circuit, and now he has his very own show. The Stephen K Amos Show sees Stephen excel at what he does best: stand-up, sketches, some hidden camera fun and a healthy dose of audience participation.
Each show is loosely themed, providing a backbone to the content. Broad, bright and mainstream in outlook, the series covers topics such as school days, travel, fitting in and relationships.
Starting off with stand-up, Stephen tells the audience about his week, followed by a series of short and long sketches – ambitious, universal in appeal and most importantly, very funny.
Along the way we meet characters like Paul Hammer, stuntman to the stars; TA Tony, the drill sergeant who's always on duty; and Bad Bond, the spy who keeps on forgetting his gadgets.
Another important part of the show is the studio audience – no one is safe. Anyone and everyone could be brought on stage, spoken to or mentioned by Stephen at any moment – or find out they've been followed by hidden cameras...
