Mzansi Revival Hour is a South African gospel music show created and produced by Themba Ndaba of Teddy Bear Productions which combines a variety of segments and takes a fresh and innovative approach to contemporary gospel music presentation of both local and international songs.
The series premiered on SABC1 on Sunday 16 February 2014, at 10h00. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 13 hour-long episodes in the series.
Synopsis
Mzansi Revival Hour, presented by Ayanda Ngubane, focuses on what the public wants: taking the public's musical requests and profiling traditional church services.
The music show takes a fresh and innovative approach to contemporary gospel music presentation of both local and international songs.
Mzansi Revival Hour represents an interesting mixture of heart-warming gospel music, interspersed with exciting profiles of both artists and churches.
Viewers make requests for personal gospel videos to be played during the show and can also enjoy an occasional verse of scripture to lift up the mood. The show is highly interactive as it encourages viewers to send in their comments via an sms line and may write to invite the show to visit their church.

Profiles the artist through interview, providing their background and inspirational message to viewers. Viewers stand a change to win prizes during the show by participating in the Artist of the Week Competition.
