Season 1
Brotherhood is a British television sitcom produced by Big Talk Productions which follows twenty-somethings Dan and Toby who become surrogate parents to little brother Jamie after their mum passes away.
Dan is a sarcastic joker - anxious and a little uptight. Toby is a naive sweetheart with an eye for the ladies. And Jamie hasn't said a word in six months.
Thrust into a new world of responsibility, Dan and Toby are in over their heads. Will Dan ever get the upper hand on his live wire work colleague Poppy? Will Toby get together with Jamie's gorgeous school teacher Miss Pemberton? Will the boys get meddling Auntie Debbie off their backs?
One thing's for sure: the brothers only have each other to rely on since, well, that's all they've got.
Brotherhood features a cast including Johnny Flynn (Scrotal Recall), Ellie Taylor (Snog, Marry, Avoid & Fake Reaction), Gemma Chan (Fresh Meat, Humans), Ben Ashenden (Siblings, The Pin) and Sarah Hadland (Miranda, Horrible Histories). It is written by newcomers Patrick Carr and Paul McKenna and marks their first scripted television commission.
Brotherhood is produced by Sam Ward (Threesome) and directed by Dominic Brigstocke (I'm Alan Partridge, Smack the Pony, Green Wing).
Executive producers are Kenton Allen, Chief Executive of Big Talk Productions, Caroline Leddy (The Inbetweeners), Jill Offman, MD Comedy Central UK & & SVP International Content and Lourdes Diaz, Vice President, Head of Global Production & Development, Comedy Central International.
