Season 2
The year is 2259, and many changes are in store for Babylon 5. Following the death of Earth President Santiago, it is felt that Earth’s role in galactic politics needs to change.
As a result Commander Sinclair is reassigned, and the new commanding officer of Babylon 5 is Captain John Sheridan, the one man who managed to defeat the Minbari in battle during the Earth-Minbari war.
Sheridan’s assumption of his new role is further complicated by the fact that Babylon 5’s security chief Michael Garibaldi lies in a coma as he fights for his life, and Minbari ambassador Delenn has enclosed herself in a mysterious chrysalis, and no one knows what will happen when she emerges, or even if she will emerge.
And other problems have arisen elsewhere in the galaxy. There are reports of the appearance of a new powerful alien race, seemingly bent on destruction, which may have links with the Centauri’s bid to recapture their former glory, even if it means the destruction of the Narns.
